Noorus, began working with Smolin as an intern before growing into her full time career as a Member of the Firm. Finding a home at Smolin so earlier on in her career has worked to her benefit, allowing Noorus to form close and trustworthy business relationships among clients and a vast network of Wealth Management resources. As a Member of the Firm, with over 10 years of experience, I provide my clients with complex accounting, auditing, tax and ERISA audit services. I understand the involvement that goes into growing a business. For a business to stay competitive an analysis of it’s marketplace and review on internal functions such as business strategy, and financial management are pertinent. I optimize clients systems and processes to achieve their goals of future success and prosperity.
I am a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants. I was recognized by the NJCPA as an honorable mention for their 2016 Women of Note and in August 2011, I was named one of the magazine’s “30 Most Influential CPA Under 30”. I’m the past President of the Essex County Chapter of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants.
More importantly, out of the office. I’m a Magna Cum Laude graduate of William Paterson University. I’m a daughter, a wife and the mother to my beautiful baby girl. I’m competitive, I make a scrumptious chocolate chip cookie and I run a tight ship when it comes to reviewing your audit. When my client is happy, I’m happy!
I’ve always been into traveling. I’ve been to England, Italy, Switzerland, France, Greece, Turkey, Belgium, Monaco, Dubai, Mexico, and Dominican Republic. I enjoy visiting new places and experiencing different cultures. I’m also very into fashion. Throughout my travels I love to bring home “souvenirs,” my husband calls them purses. I enjoy cooking different foods from the places I have been too. I am a desert before dinner type of person and will never say no to a hot fudge brownie sundae! I love the outdoors and am always up for an adventure.
