So here’s a fun tidbit…my father once accepted a job at Pizza Hut out of college. I NEVER KNEW THAT! When I started down the road on this concept (which I’ll explain in a moment), I knew that I would be learning things about my dad that I didn’t know. The Pizza Hut gig was certainly a fun surprise, but the bigger surprises are both the similarities, and the drastic differences associated with becoming a business owner 40+ years ago and today.
This leads me to the concept of this blog. As the principle of Strategic Equity Advisors LLP, I am tasked with leveraging my history as a CPA, CFO, CEPA and an M&A advisor to assist my clients with maximizing the value of their businesses and their legacy while ultimately realizing this value through a transition. Having been raised by a business owner myself, I understand how personal it is to build something and regardless of the reason – how difficult it could be to leave it.
